PAN SEARED: Heat skillet over medium-high heat and add oil/butter. Season the fillets (skin-on fillets should be cooked skin-side down first). Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
BAKED: Preheat oven to 400°F. Place seasoned fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
GRILLED: Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grates and cook fillets for 3-4 minutes per side
AIR FRYER: Pat fish dry and season as desired. Place in the basket, skin side down. Check doneness by ensuring the fish flakes easily with a fork.
For food safety, cook to an internal temperature of 145°F as measured with a food thermometer.
